Alexander Christie is currently a 9th grade creative writing major at School of the Arts. He is 13 years old. He currently lives with his parents in Rochester, New York and has a sister studying theatre in New York City. In his free time, he enjoys reading books and writing short stories. His family is very supportive of his writing and everything else he is invested in. Although he hasn’t written any long term pieces of writing, he hopes to write and publish a novel someday. Britney Rios is now a 9th grader in school of the arts located in Rochester NY. She is 14 years of age and she loves to write stories and read novels. Her favorite kind of novel is many love stories. Britney’s favorite two novels are the fault in our stars and if I stay and they are amazing stories. She lives with her dad, step mom, 2 brothers’ and a step sister who enrolled in SOTA for 7th grade 2016. Britney will graduate from SOTA in 2020 so she will give 4 years of her life for creative writing and she loves it.

DeleteHer name is Jenna. Currently, in 9th grade, she is 14 years old and in the creative arts major at School of the Arts. She lives with her mom, brother, uncle, and her three dogs. Her two other sisters live in different parts of Rochester. In her free time, she likes to just be on her phone since she has nothing else to do with her life. Jenna talks to her friends, and watches anime to be honest. She doesn’t really do anything else. She went to a school for K-8 so it’s strange being in a new school. She hopes her grades are still fine like they were in her old school. Jenna’s been in honors all her life. She hates bringing up her grades to people so she isn’t going to say. Jenna mainly listens to Ariana Grande and a duo called dvsn. She hopes her school year at School of the Arts goes well and will stay that way for the next four years.

Turon likes to help others with any conflict they have in their lives. He also likes to make music, mainly singing. He is also interested in dance. Turon likes action movies and sci-fi movies. She enjoys playing soccer in her free time, she currently is playing on the varsity soccer team for her school. She has 4 younger sisters and 1 younger brother, her siblings look up to her and they motivate her because she wants to be the best role model she can possibly be. Kemani wants to go to Howard University in the long run and study law and eventually one day become a lawyer. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, she is a focused individual and can be very optimistic at times. Kemani’s family members are really supportive of her.
ReplyDeleteJavant “king vivo” Mitchell is about 14 or 15 at this moment. He’s in the 9th grade at school of the arts. He goes to sota for creative writing. He’s been upset lately because he couldn’t play football this year. His other school activates are backyard basketball, backyard football, most likely every sport. “king Mitchell” is also a stay at home chief. When his beautiful mother is at work he’s the only hope for the young adults at his home he’s always there to help. Javant is a bright adult and is very smart man who loves to learn new things. This year Javant is excited to learn new things this year and can’t wait for this year to kick off!!!

ReplyDeleteVictoria Graziano is, as of this current point in time, a 9th grade Creative Writing Major at School of the Arts (Otherwise known as SOTA). She is currently 14 years of age, and resides in Rochester, New York. She has two older siblings (an older brother and sister), whom are both out of college now. Victoria is interested in quite a few pastimes, which include writing, drawing, and cooking. Her favorite type of literature (or genre, rather) is Mystery, and she quite enjoys the Sherlock Holmes series written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Seeing as such, she also enjoys writing this genre, and is interested in being a lawyer in the future. Victoria, however, while interested in criminal law, would much rather prefer to study prosecution as opposed to defense. She often spends time drawing and making fan art of her favorite anime characters. Victoria prefers making digital art as opposed to your general paintings or hand sketches, though. This is mainly because coloring and shading and other things of the sort are much easier on a phone or computer, and blending colors is no longer a tiresome task. Therefore, and in conclusion, Victoria Graziano is extremely interested in academic activities, as well as things related to the arts (and of course, law).

Her birthday is March 20, 2002 and she has three siblings, all older brothers. She also attends School of the Arts for the creative writing program. Her hobbies are to travel and explore, as well as go on adventures whether they are in a video game or in real life; she can make anything seem fun and adventurous even something like a walk in the park because she has a very big imagination. Her goals are to complete high school and go to college for business and/or psychology. She likes the season Autumn, her favorite color is blue, she loves animals, and her favorite food is french fries. Her pet peeves and dislikes are bullying, negativity and unsanitariness. Raeona is a person with a big heart and she cares for everyone. She doesn’t like to neglect anyone or choose sides in an argument out of fear of losing a friend. She gives great advice and keeps positive vibes and love around her.

In her spare time, she loves to take pictures and attends the School of the Arts photography club. She lives with her parents, her sister, who currently attends School of the Arts for Visual Arts, her brother, and her cat, Toby. Isobel loves to read, some of her favorite book series are Warrior Cats, City of Ember, and Percy Jackson. Her love and skill for writing went unnoticed by her for a long time. It was often something she did naturally. She tends to plan very ahead. Her goals in life are to make it in to Yale University, majoring in writing and minoring in psychology. After college she plans to travel the world with her best friend. Going to places like Spain, Ireland, France, and to the place her family is from in Puerto Rico (and wherever Walker want to go). Her plans after travelling is to get a job in journalism and a side job in photography another one of her passions.

ReplyDeletePahz Cherelin is currently a ninth grader in School of the Arts. He is taking a creative writing class in which he hopes to improve on his grammar. He turned 14 in May. He lives in Rochester, New York with his parents and his 3 pets, his dog Rascal, his other dog Gremlin, and his sister Tierra. He enjoys writing, sports, video games, and food. He likes writing comically and enjoys writing deep and dark short stories and poems. His favorite book is The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy; his favorite movie is Deadpool. He has long term depression (not really) because in 1st grade (this is a true story by the way) he met this girl, he did not know her at the time but apparently she knew him. She said hello and was very excited when she found out that they were in the same class. She was so excited in fact that she jumped out of her seat on the bus and made out with Pahz. Pahz did not know this girl but he let her do her thing. Within the week they were boyfriend and girlfriend. They were together all through first and second grade. He thought that nothing could tear them apart… Until she moved to a new school. He was scared and afraid without her. Seemingly a miracle occurred. He transferred schools so that he was in the same school as her. When he walked into class on his first day he was so excited to see her… with another man. That’s right, after only one week of being apart she had already gotten together with another man. And that kids is why Pahz Cherelin has long term depression…

Ja’kiya walker is a 9th grade creative writing major at School of the Arts. She is 15 years old. And as of 2 weeks ago she have been living with her aunt Troyce and her three daughters on the westside of Rochester New York. Ja’kiya and her parents do not get along at all. In her free time she enjoy writing realistic fiction and romance short stories. Ja’kiya have very supportive family members they all want her to succeed. Ja’kiya hope to become a publisher one day. Aside from writing she enjoys listening to music and playing volleyball. She loves living in a positive environment and being able to do the things she loves. Going into his 9th grade year, She is excited to be learning new things about writing. She hopes that she can continue to express herself through the arts after school, and share her knowledge with the world.

Kordae’s sister is currently in Boston getting her g-e-d to be an ambulance driver. In her free time, she mostly sleeps, but when she is awake she draw and writes as much as she can. She used to have 5 pit bulls but they all passed away. She would love to move to Canada just in case trump does, hopefully not, but if he becomes president. ReplyDeleteJa’Miah Smith is 14 years old, born January 21, 2002. She was born in Rochester, NY and attends School of the Arts as a freshman with a creative writing major. Ja’Miah wanted to go to School of the Arts for creative writing because she wanted to prepare and develop ahead of time to become a screenwriter. Ja’Miah wanted to be an author when she was younger but she came to the conclusion around the age of 12 that she would want her books to come to life. Her other interests are reading, listening to music, watching TV/movies and relaxing. She’s not big on going out, she is a homebody and very to herself. Being that there is usually a total of 7 people in her household, not including herself, she knows the value of family, sharing and teamwork although she is, as said before, very to herself.

ReplyDeleteAkhiyar Abdi is a 9th grade student currently attending School of the Arts. She is 14 years old and majors in creative writing. She was born in Kenya and raised in Rochester NY. Akhiyar lives with both her parents and her 8 siblings. She got interested in writing when she was in the 2nd grade and wrote a story about crocodiles and their love for human blood. After getting various reactions from her class she realized she enjoyed receiving their judgment and continued writing gruesome writing pieces. Aside from writing Akhiyar enjoys reading, music, and eating. When she grows up she aspires to be a psychologist. She also hopes to one day have a book published. She is excited to learn more about writing and can’t wait to start this school year.
