    Drowning Horses
    1. She is “a thousand miles away” mentally.
    2. The weapon she is talking about is when she says, “another drink.” The weapon is alcohol.
    3. Because she is drinking and is probably drunk and they don’t want to have her make a scene so they just decided to not allow her to make herself even more drunk.
    4. She escapes with her.
    5. The significance of “no sound” is the sound of death, of not existing anymore, which is nothing.

    Ice Horses
    1. Ice horses are the most dangerous ones because ice hurts. Ice can be painful. Its cold, rough.
    2. Hottest as in temper and “so cold that your tongue sticks” as in personality and you can’t get away.
    3. Finally broken free but it was a struggle and you are torn at having left but you are free.
    4. The speaker is torn and gallops into fire so to speak.
