    Drowning horses

I think mentally because the person in the speaker seems like he or she is close to the person physically. The speaker seems like they don’t understand her and can’t get inside her mind.

The weapons may be things that are capable of killing someone.

A restaurant won’t serve her because they probably won’t serve her because they know she is going to use the silverware or an item to kill her self.

I think the speaker means if she dies or gets rid of herself he or she will too.

The significance of no sound is that he girl probably got rid of or killed her self and nobody heard it.

    Ice horses

I think it means that they are the most dangerous horses and they can hurt you.

I think it means that the horse are hot meaning they are mad and cold meaning they are careless.

The significance is that they re moving so fast the person can’t talk like their tongue is torn apart.

The speaker seems like he or she starts to slow down like something tragic is happening.

  2. Drowning horses

    1. The speaker says “I am a thousand miles away.” Is she at a distance physically, mentally, or something else.

I would have to say metaphorically because I think she speaks of her being on a cruise ship with another person but she is a thousand miles away from land.

    2. What are the weapons the of the poem talks about?

She speaks of a busy restaurant, dry humor, and alcoholic beverages.

    3. What do you think when the speaker means “her escape is my own”?

I think it means I want her avoiding me is my relief.

    3. What is the significance of no sound?

The significance is that there no speech or conversation what so ever. It is just the ocean.

    Ice Horses

    1. What do you think when the speaker means when she says that ice horses are the most dangerous ones.

I think the she means the people who play you are the ones who are the most hurting.

    2. How can a horse be the hottest and so cold that your tongue at the same time?

I think it means a person can look so handsome but could be hurt and cheat on you the most.

    4. The speaker says that the tongue is “torn apart because it is frozen to the motion of hooves.”

It says the tongue is speechless because it can’t take it anymore.

5.What happens to the speaker at the end of the poem?

    She was dumped?
